i'm tracking the dangerous conditions this morning. >>> and mayor schaaf is joining us live at 6:45, we'll be asking her questions about covid-19 testing and reopening the city. good morning, everybody. it is friday, september 11th. straight to mike for more details on this air quality. >> and it is some of the worst air quality we've had during this consecutive streak of 25 spare the air alerts. we have places like willitts and napa and concord and san francisco unhealthy for everybody. but then you look at santa rosa, san rafael, fairfield, even worse there, very unhealthy. and the unhealthy air extends all the way into the south bay. so nowhere can we go to escape it unless you wake up on the other side of the santa cruz mountains. in fact that is a look from our exploratorium camera and you can't even see across the street in san francisco to any buildings along the embarcadero there. visibility less than a quarter of a mile along the coast, san francisco, up through the north bay. and look at the winds, they are fairly calm. so we won't see anything that will stir up the atmosph
