let's get the latest from terry schultz in brussels welcome terry how are they reacting back to these the tricks in britain's parliament here in brussels the position changes so little no matter what happens on on the british side because the european union says it is up to the u.k. to come back to brussels with proposals for alternatives with expressing very their clear desire for what they want to happen if they want to leave october 31st if they want to no deal breaks it and as we've seen just from that piece even today there is no clear path forward and so the e.u. says it is still up to london to bring their suggestions to the e.u. and at the moment there's really nothing to react to because nobody knows what the next step will be the 2 the next 2 likely positions are likely to be either a no deal breck's it or the possibility of asking for another extension. how how are each of those likely to be viewed by brussels let's let's start with a no deal breck's it. right the new deal bres it is still something that is being seen here as an increasingly likely eventuality in fact today

stuff was the british prime minister i spoke to our correspondents seana thoughts in london and teri schultz in brussels and i began by asking what was at stake in parliament today very heated debate there again questions and answers form for boris johnson there and one thing we can say is that parliament is just extremely divided there are those that want to break 3rd those that are against breck said those that want a 2nd referendum those that want break said but are opposed to no deal and it remains that palmer. it is extremely divided now one thing that they do seem to be able to rally behind is the bill that is on the table today and that would prevent boris johnson from from taking the country out of the european union without a deal on october 31st so this bill would basically force boris johnson to go to the european union and ask for an extension and this time around that will be until january 31st so a 3 month extension and boris johnson if this bill is successful would have to ask the european union for that and to me in brussels what do these developments in london mean for the e
