good morning. >> reporter: good morning, scott. yeah, the emergency services contractor van is still on scene. the guy, he is here, he just finished up boarding up the lower portion of the main apparatus store, this as far as we're told the main damage here at fire station 27. we're off of deanza boulevard in san mateo. i spoke to a firefighter and he tells me he was here when this happened last night. he says it's not something that happens every day and it was certainly a scary surprise toing inside and hear a slam. what happened was this was shortly before 11:00 last night that a gmc yukon slammed into this fire station door. we also understand there is more damage but we're not being able to see that right now. we understand a fire reserve truck was also hurt or rather than hurt it was damaged. no firefighters were hurt in this accident. but the two people inside the suv, they were taken to the hospital with injuries. it's suspected the driver was drunk but that has not been confirmed yet. i hung up the phone with the battalion
