i had to exit it, scott. so what i did as you know, i sold the straddle about ten days ago ortwo weeks ago and bought the 55.75 spread in september. took a lot of money out of that str straddle as the ball came down and i was into that call spread for $3 as you probably recall. that call spread fell to that same $3 yesterday from about 6.5. $7, from a couple of weeks ago so i had taken some profits. exited the rest yesterday and today, the stock's $45 so it's not like i'd given up on the stock, scott, but i gave up on that spread because it was just too far out of the money. i think a lot of the most recent turn in crypto, which has happened just in the last two weeks and is not part of this report, i think a lot of that will drive volumes and as you've already heard, the consumers or customers there, 21 million of them active, a lot of them trading crypto 60 some add percent of their revenue coming from that i think that's going to be much bigger in the coming months because of this big turn crypto's made fr

should we all be >> for the most part, yes, scott. when all news is good news, even that news that most of us would say is bad news like the michigan sentiment report last friday we hit record highs after that we didn't go down. we hit record highs. when you're running up in the face of news that's clearly bad, the worst sentiment reading since 2011, pandemic-era low as far as sentiment, that's helping the fed in my mind anyway, scott, because the fed is out there and they are hoping against hope that they don't see an acceleration in inflation that is out of control because then they're going to have to hit it hard right between the eye. they've been lucky in the -- when i say lucky, a bad sentiment reading, that's easier than the delta, but both of those have been holding us back as well as the lack of workers because, until september 6th, when the unemployment added benefit rolls off we're going to have that and then i believe we'll start catching up with the demand we will start increasing supply of workers at about that point, at

let's dive into those numbers with scott. strong numbers and disney, still fighting the pandemic at the parks but let's start with streaming. what stands out? >> most obviously, two things. the upside in the disney plus subscriber numbers, they have doubled subscribers over the past year. significant, continuing performance since the last quarter, exceeding 100 million subscribers, going to 116 million. however, it is notable that if you look at this quarter versus the prior year period, we saw a decline and that makes it obvious disney is choosing subscriber growth over related revenue. they are making a land grab and making a bet that that will be a successful decision for quarters in years to come. emily: there is tension between releasing in theaters and releasing on disney plus. disney plus is a great success but the company was sued by scarlett johansson a few weeks ago because she disputed how they released a movie and the payout that resulted. how do you expect them to make these decisions going forward? we are in thi

so the bank of america, scott, was last week. late last week on friday we had huge options paper coming into there buying multiple strikes. expiring this week so very short term again, like everything else has been very, very short term. the goldman sachs trade is amazing to me as well. look at where goldman sachs is trading. 395 when they started buying these calls. the calls that they're buying are the 400 strike calls that expire on friday so they're buying right at the money calls trying to get that leverage to try to get a move if there is a move to the up side a little move already. but it started at 395, moved up to 400 and had some nice sized buyers of those calls. so when you get 8,000 or so buying of an option like that, that's something that's going to definitely ring and make sure that you pay attention to it i did and i immediately jumped on these calls as well hopefully we've got a little bit of a move to the upside. the ten-year, very important as it's made a nice move from those lows up here towards that one, thre

i'm going to start off with activision, scott. that you go back to february, it was a $104 stock. today it was trading closer to $83 and obviously stay-at-home stock a lot of people were talking about last year during the midst of the pandemic. we did have some huge buy-in come september 3rd expiring stock was trading around 83, maybe a little bit higher. they bought 10,000 of these calls, about 55 cents up to about 75 cents i'm in these calls i like when i see something like this it makes sense to me that we would get a little bounceback as we are starting to feel more about the delta variant. that made sense. like this name i'm in this name the next name i'm not so excited about. it's the fxi it's china large cap but i've been watching this and we've all seen it. it's gone from 54 all the way down now it's trading on the lows maybe that's part of the thinking here is we can at some point start to see a little bit of a bounce. but we have some huge call buying in here in the fxi. we've got 20,000 of the september 39 calls, scott.

but, scott, makes sense. and telse is right if you go back to march and everybody said this is peak earnings because of that we watched the stock start the day going higher, immediately reversed went lower. trading about 167. it's almost not looked back since that time back in march. and it's been moving to the upside i think a lot of it has to do with the partnerships they made. i think it has a lot to do with the fact that they continue to invest in the business they have put themselves out there saying they're putting in $4 billion annually each and every year for remodelling as well as building are stores quick are and working on the different accesses for people as well to make it that much more easy for people in terms of the online. they just seem to be doing everything right, just the past week they announced how they're going to be working with people to send them to college and masters programs and all the rest of that through their own sort of like scholarship deal they have at target. they really
