scott, good morning to you. to the chronicle, the number of traffic fatalities stands at 41 for 2024 for the city of san francisco. and that is going the opposite direction of where it wants to be. the goal of vision zero sf has been to eliminate all traffic death that goal marked ten years last year, and it's going the opposite way. now, the city ended the year with several crashes, including a deadly car crash on crossover drive that's in golden gate park, crossed over connects park presidio and 19th avenue here in the city, which is a pretty major street or thoroughfare. police say it was a single car crash and a car caught fire. one person died from that crash, but it was a fatal car crash that killed a family of four in san francisco's west portal neighborhood that marked 2024. mary fong lieu faces felony vehicular manslaughter charges in connection to that crash. it happened at a bus stop at harbor and lennox way back in march of last year. a mother, a two year old boy and an infant all died as a result. l
