this is called bird watch and scott mcgrew, something to talk about here. i understand this is attempt to make twitter posts more accurate. >> that's right. it's in the experimental stage for a bit, but this morning, twitter said they are ready to make this mainstream. the best way to explai it is to show it to you. so here for instance is a tweet that asks why all americans tax money goes to ukraine. well, obviously it doesn't. so there's an example underneath. the context there has been added. aid ukraine is about 1% of the u.s. budget. that context was added by other twitter users. if enough volunteer bird watchers find it helpful, that context gets upvoted to the point where it appears under that tweet you saw. twitter says its bird watch system will be more than just a vote. after all, just because some group of people says something is true doesn't make it true. instead, the company says it will use an algorithm that looks for agreement on many sides. anyone who's been on twitter six months and hasn't broken any twitter rules can be a bird watcher. tw

scott mcgrew says the total puts president biden far ahead of past presidents. >> yeah, that's right. good morning. the spr was created so presidents could do just that, sell barrels of oil on the open market to increase supply in the case of a hurricane, and some use it to drive down prices. you can even use it the opposite way. if you think oil prices are too low, and that hurts states like texas, you can announce you're buying millions of barrels and hopefully drive the price up. as for those totals you were speaking of, according to data put together by the u.s. energy information administration, mr. biden has accessed 165 million barrels so far. remember, that's out of 180 total that he wants to access. and there you see the other presidents. obama and george w. bush's case, they were dealing with hurricanes. george h.w. bush with the gulf war. president trump said we had too much oil in reserve and proposed selling half of it. congress said no. we have more oil remaining in the reserve right now, even after the recent releases, than we would have had had we sold half of it. back
