ktvu's scott reiss is in arizona for spring training. how did he look on the mound today? >> reporter: you know, he looked good. this was a long time coming. july 9, 2014, the last time matt cain pitched in a game. missed last season injuries but today feeling fine and looking like the cain of old. this was his first test against the dodger team that featured all starters. he was effective. two innings. retiring six batters on 20 pitches. all bout incident. i asked -- about incident. i asked him if there were butterflies? >> yeah. definitely was. better, you know, facing these guys. definitely good to get the butterflies -- you know, get the extra adrenaline going. went really good. you know, i have been trying to think about getting in the right rhythm. getting in the same groove. it worked out today. >> the ability for him to pitch like he did today will be for us and him too. i can't imagine -- i am sure he was fighting through pain last year. hopefully he can pitch without it this year. >> reporter: he was on a 30 pitch limit today but because of the adrenaline 20 pitc
