in the santa cruz mountains in scotts valley with more on this fire fight. gayle. >>well that 70 year-old man was found in the low area of last chance the road and of santa cruz county sheriff's deputies are also looking into 3 other missing persons cases. firefighters are focusing on saving homes. we have video of what they're doing today and you can see a they were a back burning they were setting fires to control the fire line around a home on highway 9 in boulder creek and this is right by the boulder creek community church. they were making continue felines to protect this home. the fire is burning in dance. forrest, a lot of undergrowth in heavy timber in that area. they're dealing with a lot of hot spots. throughout the neighborhood just down the road there is actually a fire burning on the hill that a group that they're able to contain the towns around they have a very narrow roads up. officials say when they found that 70 year-old man it on it was a road that was impossible they have to play helicopter for recovery. or >>and meantime firefighters are worri

several evacuation orders were lifted yesterday, including the city of scotts valley. the ccu has burned in the santa cruz mountains. the containment is 24%. the states largest fire is currently the lnu complex fire. that burned 578 square miles in sonoma, napa and solano counties. although containment is at 35%, evacuation orders have been issued for colusa county near the lake county line, almost 1100 homes and other buildings have been destroyed. >>> the woodward fire at the national seashore remains at 8% containment. that fire is burning west at highway 1. it has consumed 4 1/2 square miles. no homes have been lost. the county sheriff says it is very smoky. they're asking people to avoid visiting the coast this weekend. >>> most of the people who had to evacuate in the san mateo county area are being allowed to return. the highway 1, highway 84 areas have all reopened. this 80 improving weather conditions this week and reinforcements from around the state have helped them increase containment. >> it is great. i know a lot of people are dying to get back in here. t
