sean clyde was attacking his parents with a knife in their hamilton home, and officers were forced to open fire. nora muchanic has more and joins us live at the scene. >> reporter: alicia it's home where this happened is still sealed off by police tape at this hour, bail we are told for sean clyde is set for half a million dollars and he is still in the hospital for gunshot wounds and under police guard as they try to figure out what triggered this awful attack. 36-year-old sean clyde is charged with weapons charges and brutal assault after he attacked his parents on knotting hill lane. responding to a 911 call from a neighbor, they arrived to find him on the back of his father stabbing him in the back of the head and neck with a steak knife. >> he continued to stab the other gentlemen in the apartment and then the officers used the appropriate amount of force to prevent more stabbing. >> two officers opened fire hitting collide and he and his father are both listed in critical condition, clyde's mother bonnie was treated and released. she doesn't know sean clyde but used to watch him
