[ laughter ] >> jimmy: billy west is the best. >> yeah. we brought in billy west, who was doing it on -- howard for years. >> jimmy: howard stern. oh, that's right. >> and, so we brought him in as a consultant. and he worked with him. and basically, it's -- it was just a -- you know, very specific accent. philly, you know? the stooges were from brooklyn, i believe. but he was from philly, and it's a little more nasally. a little different and -- and he just, you know, really fine-tuned it. >> jimmy: you have sofia vergara, who is just gorgeous. she was on the show the other day and super funny. larry david plays a nun. sean hayes is larry.rter: we wanted to be very specifically moe, larry, curly. we didn't want actors coming in and saying i'll do a version of moe. no, no, no, no you have to do exactly moe. >> reporter: the trick was turning complete complete stranger into the three stooges. >> we hired the guys. we had what we called spring training. they were hitting each other, coming in very slow for about two weeks just working it. we had stunt guys there teaching them how to hit. and then after about six weeks, we had the guys really whacking each other. >> reporter: speaking of whacking, we put together our own little focus group of sorts to watch an old stooges movie. and look what happened. worried about just such a reaction to their film, the brothers added a disclaimer at the end. >> we want to know all the stunts performed in that film they were done by professionals. all the tools are not real. they're rubber. watch this. now, let's watch that with sound effects. pretty cool. >> it's a cartoon hitting and st
