searchers found her car. but three days have come and gone and they have no sign of pa jet.r is live in northampton borough. dave? >> reporter: lucy, jessica pa jet's car was found right here in this parking lot hours after she disappeared. state police say they found her cell phone and other personal items in the car. to night searchers are out handing out these flyers and looking for her and the police continue to search as well. state police helicopter circle the area around the duck duck goose daycare center in northampton borough monday afternoon. this is where 33-year-old jessica padgett was last seen friday before she disappear. >> we hope she's found. that's all we ask at this time. keep their eyes out. that's it. >> co-workers say jessica left the daycare to run an errand just afternoon. she never returned. >> she was going to take care of personal issue and she just -- that was it. looking back now i wish we would have just taken couple extra moments to talk to her and see what she was okay. >> we were going to expand on the area that we've already searched in. >>

the searchers tell us that the witnesses that saw the car going into the river did see someone get out the vehicle first before it entered the river. the police are still searching the car in case there may have been anyone else in the vehicle besides the one that got out. it happened at 3:50 in tacony. a red corvette drove into the water. they are doing a search right now checking out tracks leading to the water. >>> the authorities in montgomery county say that a dangerous thief is behind bars. this man stole several guns from two firearm shops. they are glad to make this arrest. there is concern over the whereabouts of weapons. andrew rocco stole guns and sold them to other criminals. david has more. >>reporter:yes andrew rocco was arraigned in district court this afternoon. he left them scambling. they have recovered two of them what dirt dirty harry may descrs one of the most powerful guns in the world. >> the devastation this kind of firearm is immeasurable. >>reporter:this rugger was stoleon from hat holiday. and another nine guns in lansdale. 33-year-old andrew rocco of lansdal

meanwhile, searchers hit wooded areas throughout the region looking for him. searchers, many family members, friends and people even coming down from northeast philadelphia we're told because they saw this story on the news. people looking for shane and we're told that investigators are actually crossing off parts of their search and looking in other areas so this is part of a coordinated situation, again, search efforts will continue tomorrow. in fact family members tell us that the dive team will be back out at the canal and they do not want volunteers to come out like they have have been helping out. they want the professional dive team members to be able to do their work and not have volunteers take part in that. if you're planning on helping out check with the family first and see how you may be able to help. don't come here where the dive teams will be working at the family's request. the search for shane continues with $10,000 in reward money posted by the family. karen? >> so many prayers. dave, thank you long road to recovery for a man from minnesota.

now searchers have found human remains in a river. we learn more from rafael romo in mexico. >> reporter: badly burnt human remains, teeth and bone fragments, a gruesome discovery in a river located in southern mexico. the mexican attorney general says authorities are dealing with a massive homicide, the victims he said could be 43 students who disappeared in late september in the city of igala. the students are in their late teens or early 20s, a order of the mayor, police abducted the students and turned them over to a gang. the gang which allegedly has deep ties to the mayor reportedly killed the students and burnt their bodies before throwing the remains in a river. identifying the bodies, he said, will be a huge challenge. he said the remains are so badly burnt that obtaining reliable dna samples to identify the victims will be extremely difficult. as a result, he said, officials have not been able to determine for certain that those are the students' remains. the mexican attorney general said so far 74 suspects have been arreste
