sergio joins us live with more on those cases. sergio? >> reporter: well, both of these were health care workers who were at a hospital in solano county treating the case that we reported on a little bit earlier in the week. one of those hospital workers lives in solano county. the other lives here in alameda county. that means that the county has declared a public health emergency. let's go to some video of that hospital where this all happened. nearly 100e hospital related to symptoms of coronavirus. but she had not recently traveled from china, nor was she in contact with anyone who was there. so she was not tested. her condition got worse, so she was transferred to uc davis medical center where after several days there was she finally tested and she got a positive result. now there are three new cases. >> i think health care workers often travel across county lines to work at a particular hospital. and, so, of the nearly 100 people that are being monitored, they actually reside in multiple different counties. but the two that have bee
