and joining me now is congressman seth moulton, an iraq war veteran. great to see you. not get on the debate stage. how much of a disadvantage is that to you now? and what do you expect going forward? >> we actually had our biggest fundraising day after launch day on the day that the dnc announced that i wasn't on the debate stage. i don't think that it is lost on people that when the democratic establishment in washington is deciding who should be on that stage rather than the voters, that maybe that is not the best way to pick the best nominee to take on trump. and it was the only governor of a state that trump won and the only combat veteran who were excluded from that debate. so i'm just talking to voters on the ground. i spent last week in nevada, an early caucus state, meeting voters and doing fourth of july activities. and ultimately it is those voters when they go to the polls next february which is still a long way away who will decide the best nominee to take on trump. >> and i do think that pga is alis -- pete buttigieg is also a veteran and of course you are
