opportunity it united kingdom thank you for having me so happen to be here our firmer as represented sfpuc for a number of years i think commissioner moran was gm when we started i believe it has been awhile a privilege to represent sfpuc you know it is interesting work it feels like it's important work and sometimes we have fun doing it as well our main job as julia mentioned to look for the interests of sfpuc in sacramento whether it is before the elective it is your or the governor's office or the like so basically looking for opportunity and looking out for challenges that's really what we do over the years we've become identified with sfpuc and the hallways of the capital in sacramento sometimes those challenges are brought to us by colleagues and others who associate us with sfpuc there are dozens of issues a year we've worked on as mentioned 40 bills last year and many issues going along with those over the years we've developed you know a certain amount of expertise that are important we've lobbied them and really the benefit of working with fantastic staff up here that's taught us
