shay, is this that system that's threatening the panhandle? >> yes, winter weather to the north continues to tuesday night, wednesday morning. the severe weather threat, tornado watch box here through the panhandle till 10:00 p.m. take a look at the tiny box there. we do still have somewhat of a risk of potential for severe weather as this line of storms rolls on through. the moisture is starting to you could see a few scattered showers through about 1:00 in the morning. you can see how this is showing a little green, nothing too widespread until 2:00. that's when that strong line starts to approach our coastline from kit are you sure county on into pinellas county. it rolls through tampa bay around 3:00, 4:00 in the morning and then heads south and begins to move out of the area and taper off. still could see a lingering shower through about noon but the severe weather risk is from 2:00 in the morning to 7:00 in the morning. a lot of us are sleeping at that time, so storm shield is a great app to have to alert you of any warnings in your area

shay? ground groundhog day. >> how are you going to see your shadow? we're not, right? we'll find out as the morning rolls on. well, that is pennsylvania. maybe better conditions there. look at the rivergate tower tampa camera, you can see the low-lying fog and again it is a -- low deck of clouds that have been rolling in due to sea fog. that is where we're seeing pretty low visibilities. this is our futurecast model, predicting the visibilities for this hour. a lot of them near zero. watch what happens as we roll through to 7:00. it's very similar, right? then we roll forward to about 10:00 in the morning and all areas are above a mile of visibility. so that dense fog advisory in place through 10:00 in the morning, and again this futurecast model is also showing the same thing. that the fog is going to linger until 10:00 and then we'll start to see it clear up. we do have less than a quarter mile visibility being reported across much of the area, so it could take you longer for the morning commute. good news, it's going to be gorgeous through the day. on the warm side

shay ryan, we're talking a warm- up for the bay area? >> yeah, significant warm-up. in fact highs today are going to be in the mid to upper 70s. we're starting off this morning in the low to mid-60s. and even though we have quite a bit of cloud cover especially early in the day we'll get more sunshine this afternoon. there's only a slight chance for a brief shower, nothing that should cause much of a problem. with wet pavement for the morning or afternoon commute. it may just be some drizzle or quick sprinkle that you happen to encounter. don't want you to think it will get nastier than that. not until thursday that is. take a look, at how high the temperatures go, tomorrow with a high of 80, we're not meeting or breaking records but we're certainly well above the average of 71 for this time of year. about 10 degrees above the average low. so this continues right up to wednesday and then our next cold front moves through on thursday. it will give us a good chance for some soaking rains, for a period of time, again this is not going to be an entire day with rain. it's
