shaquille brewster is in kenosha. us what you're seeing this morning and how it went overnight. >> reporter: the suspect wither is 17-year-old from antioch, illinois, about 30 minutes south of where we are right now, across the border of course. he's charged with intentional homicide. he is still in custody in illinois. there's some point he'll be transferred over to come up and face charges here in kenosha. it's not clear if he was part of any formal group but there was a video an interview that he did with "the daily caller" reporter in which he explained why he was here. he was here to help protect the business and also said that he wanted to help anyone who was in harm's way and he explained that was the reason why he had his rifle. it's important to note that night, as we were watching protests, many people did have their rifles, many people had long guns, people had handguns, there was large presence of guns as people came to both say they were protecting businesses, but also say they were protecting protesters.
