meg shaw is live at the fire house for us this morning. good morning, meg. >> reporter: good morning, terrence and corrina. already this year the lakewood stroke victims to the hospital or the e.r. we know in those tense situations every minute counts. the training will provide firefighters with more opportunity to treat these victims quicker. during today's training, firefighters will work through several complex scenarios in real-time just like they would in the heat of the home. they're using a simulation lab and a mobile stroke treatment unit to provide the care. in some cases they will work full size digitally programmed mannequins. the unit will hit the streets in lakewood in a couple of weeks. the unit will be able to meet first responders and firefighters in the field at a patient's home and they can begin treatment on the drive to the hospital. they say that means that a lot of these stroke victims will have reduced complications on the way to the hospital and even when they get to the a.m. they say it will last about two hours at

. >> meg shaw is live in garfield heights. meg, tell us what happened there. >> reporter: i can tell you that police are still trying to answer that question themselves this morning. just moments ago an officer was driving here, slowly by the scene, just checking everything out. there is another officer in the parking lot of this barbershop. again, they are still trying to answer that question of what happened. we do know some type of altercation broke out inside the barbershop here onur were fired killing a 29-year-old man and injuring another man in his 20s. police tell us it happened around 5:30, 6:00 on tuesday. they say several people were inside the store at the time of the shooting. some even telling police a small child was there. now, we are told one gun was recovered from the scene but police say they don't believe it was the gun used to kill the 29-year-old man. as for the man injured, we are told he's been release from the hospital. this morning police are asking for your help. so if you know anything, if you were

swayzer was arrested when she 30-year-old shade shaw-day swayzer was arrested when she was 8 and half months pregnant. she was placed in a maximum security unit. her attorney says when she alerted guards that she was in labor, nothing was to have the baby inside her cell-- and within hours it died. "she's very depressed. she's distraught. i've never seen anybody break down that emotionally as she went through the story." the medical examiner has not determined if the baby was born alive or stillborn. we've reached out the sheriff's office for comment, but haven't heard back. the county's corporation counsel office tells us it does have a copy of the claim. a 22-year-old m girlfriend. according to the criminal complaint, the attack happened when the victim asked hector acevedo to leave her home. during the attack, acevedo allegedly kicked her in the head and stomach. it's unclear why acevedo appears to have been beaten himself. police say there was a four hour window between the time of the attack and the time he was arrested-- and they're not sure how he was injured. happening today--
