shay has the latest track. >> yeah. we have been looking at a lot of changes from one model track to the next. what you see right now is a whole lot of nothing. there's a possibility that this storm could create a whole bunch of nothing. ultimately what we're watching is variability with the storm's path. and the timing has also changed in the most recent update, speeding it up a bit. with those things in mind as we look at what the storms are out have three batches of storms. fiona is pretty much done. the final update has been issued. that will continue to dissipate. then we have gaston, which could likely be our next major hurricane. but, again, that one is going to stay out into open ocean. as we take a look at what is in the middle, this is the one that has some possible concern to us here in the u.s. so as we watch where its path will be headed, you can see with the spagtt it is bringing it, most of them, over the virgin islands and near puerto rico. as it gets closer to the bahamas, it gets interesting. if it hol

there is shay. >> yeah. >> what are we expecting next week, shay? >> the questions keep coming in. as we're asking a lot of questions as meteorologists as well. ed models have been a little more consistent. they're not really nailing it down. so here is a potential path. we're looking at it approaching south florida by sunday night. and the latest path has it coming right up the west coast of florida. and then curving back in and then going back across the panhandle and eventually into the carolinas. the main time frame it would be it sys on this path or something similar to it would be formonday afternoon through wednesday morning. so it's a pretty long duration, which also gives us a decent chance of very heavy rainfall totals. some of the had it close to the coastline where the storm would be mpg the majority of the rain right around 5 to 10 inches. and inland, 4 to 7 inches. don't stick with those those are rough estimates. just telling you what the models are saying today. we know we have had a lot of change. i would expect some tropical rain and flooding is a concern, especia

shay can tell us what it looks like. >> here is what stinks. we do not have consistency with the models from one run to the next. let me show you how dramatically different it has been. earlier this morning, the model run, the euro, which is extremely reliable, normally, it had coming across the tip of south florida and then making landfall back into the gulf between louisiana and texas. decided to bring it right up the coast of florida, the west coast of florida and making landfall close to tallahassee before going inland and across the carolinas. talk about a difference. normally we don't see this kind of flip flopping when you are this close to a storm nearing your area. so we do know where it's going to start and where it's likely to be by sunday morning. but it is going to take some time between now wher still disorganized. doesn't have a concentrated center of circulation. it is strengthen and has strong winds and bringing potential rains to the bahamas in the days ahead. if you're traveling in that area, check ahead because conditions wi
