sherrod brown thinks it's progress. >> two massive problems with this.eing under this biden regime. look at the constitution. the 10th amendment. we always forget that. but everything that is not specified in the constitution is the responsibility of the states respectively or the people. i'm not against helping families in need but it shouldn't be the federal government doing it. it should be state and local government doing it. we see this huge expansion of federal responsibility over things that have no business being han ld at that level. the second problem is this is a remaking of american society. they are turning it into a welfare society, the kind of thing you see in europe. that was not on offer from biden in his election campaign. they have no mandate for any of this. this goes way beyond the centrism and return to normal that he promised. this is fundamentally illegitimate to do this. if he wants to do this, turn america into something it is not a european style welfare state. get the consent of the people. there is no consent or mandate for t
