the deaths of jacob dennis, cary greene and patrick shifflett have really rattled the community. everyone we interviewed including the principal here at clarksburg high school spoken so highly of the young men. police do believe that speed and inexperience behind the wheel led to the fatal crash. police telling us that jacob in november. they go on to say that one week before that incident on saturday, october 24, cary greene was driving his ford pickup truck along a hilly stretch of needsville road in germantown when he crashed into a tree head-on. paramedics had to take him and three passengers to the hospital. so many teens struggle with driving a vehicle but they understand the importance that they can be lethal weapons if they are not treated with respect. >> this happens if they don't have courageous conversation to remind them to be safe and come home safe. >> this is the third consecutive summer in montgomery county where there has been a fatal crash with multiple fatalities teenagers. all new at 5:00, we take a closer look at what if anyone can be done to prevent this. k
