we are tracking the fast-moving snow showers on the back sid of low pressure, east-- back side of the low pressure, east of the area. the purple is where we are seeing heavier snow drop a half inch of snow. drier air is working from the north, as will be the trend. travel advoyeurs have canceled throughout the state. our area of low pressure is off to the east with the advisories pushing into new mexico and central texas. in the high country, the snow is amazing, 24 hour snow reports 6-17 inches. we may add to the numbers on the back side of the system but we are about to settle into a warm and drying trend with highs above average the rest of this week. here is the low, making its way system already moving on shore. in california the high pressure anchors where it is, keep a lot of the precip and energy to the north of us. things are calming in the east coast area but another storm system tracking that way, more rain and snow in an area where they don't need it will complicate an already difficult travel scenario across philadelphia, chicago, and new york. sunny tomorrow with a cool
