a stormy weather pattern will return by sunday with a chance for rain and sierra snow showers continuing into early next week! thanks jeff. in crime beat... reno police have a suspect in custody after a shooting at siri's casino in downtown reno left one man dead. just before midnight sunday, the reno police department the siri's casino at 241 north virginia street in the heart of downtown reno. police have identified the suspect as 38 year old kiley grayson. he's been charged with open murder and police say he did not run from the crime scene or resist arrest. the victim was an off duty employee of siri's casino. police have determined there was a physical and verbal dispute between the two men. when the victim tried to walk away... police say grayson pulled out a gun and shot the man in the chest. the name of the victim has not yet been released. the woman who died after an accident at squaw valley over the weekend has been identified. firefighters were called out to the ski resort just after 1-30 p-m saturday on a report of an injured skier. there they found 62-year-old elizabeth dane

=sam//take vo== police presume sierra lamwasn h >>> it's been four years since sierra lamar disappearede assumed her to be dead. volunteers are getting ready to conduct another search this saturday. >> reporter: the search for the 15-year-old girl who disappeared on her way to this bus stop located at this intersection behind me there, sam and laura. this volunteer search will comprise of volunteers, family and friends, taking place at 9:15, we eastman canyon road at morning gan hill -- morgan hill. one of many that have taken place since she disappeared a couple blocks from her family's home. she disappeared somewhere between the dus stop and her house -- the bus stop and her house. she was 15 years old and a student at morgan hill high school. they mounted an intense search of the south county to find her remains. as you may recall. the santa clara sheriff's office does believe she was abducted and killed by torres and the grand jury has indicted the morgan hillman in her murder and trial scheduled to start next month. >>> thank you. sheriff laurie smith is laying out a new 13 step pl

. >>> the sierra snow pack is dwindling. today' survey revealed el nino is not living up to expectations. january looked promising. we had plenty of rain and snow. all that started to melt in february due to clear and sunny conditions. right now the sierra snow pack is 85% of normal for this time of the year. chief meteorologist jeff rainieri joins us ho look at how drastically different this is from 2015. >> the good news is going forward the next 10 to 15-day outlook across the sierra shows the potential of maybe two or at least three feet of snow. so that is great news. but when we get a look at conditions at least currently compared to 2015, despite the most recent snowfall melt we are still doing better. you can see a year ago today just 4.9 inch average snow depth. we had snow across the sierra. but again it just wasn't super thick. currently right at 16.3 inch average depth. we have a water content of 5.3 inches. so once again, it's all about this changing weather pattern that still looks very promising to happen as w
