if you are heading to winnetka, sjc is expecting traffic. you are encouraged to get to the airport at least two hours earl i your four flight. and if you are heading over the hill to santa cruz, you don't need us to tell you it will be miserable gridlock. not only on highway 17, but also on surface streets through los gatos. "today in the bay" kris sanchez live there with what the town is trying to do to keep the peace between beach-goers and neighbors and businesses and, kris, you are saying they are not going to shut down the on-ramps. >> reporter: they are not going to shut down the off and on-ramps to keep people off the main drag here in los gatos and the residential streets and that is because it was a $300,000 experiment that just did not work. it did not keep the beach-goers on highway 17 and off the residential streets but just shifted the spillover traffic to different neighborhoods. here is how locals feel about it. >> i don't know if it didfully go -- did any good because the traffic is still the same of you have to get there ear
