that's the latest from sky force 10. >> there's a look at these empty rail lines.oyington is keeping an eye on the rails and the roads. >> we're going to start with the regional rail delays, of course we're seeing several of them, it looks just like it did yesterday evening, but we're starting to see more of that volume. 30-minute delays on the thorn dale line, up to 35 minutes for west trenton and 30-minute delays for west trenton. it's only 4:30 so we'll see this getting worse. a lot of cars, more cars anyway are on the road because there's a lot of overflow from all of the passengers that usually take septa in and out of the city. this is our camera in and around center city street. a crawl in both directions, with a 23-minute drive time. west vine to the expressway, and you can see that traffic. taking a look at the rest of our majors, parts of 95 right around 20 miles an hour. schuylkill around 14, 20 miles an hour as you approach the vine land expressway. but approaching center city, we're looking at broad street because the broad street line, 8-mile-per-hour

sky force was over baker center moments after that main burst yesterday afternoon.he second time in a short period of time for this particular main. the water department tells us as much as 6 million gallons of water gush out of control. we saw some of the 75 people who were rescued and learned another 150 needed to be sheltered in place, some carried away by firefighters on raft boats. one man trapped in his car as water kept rising and rising he tells us. officials say dozens of cars in all were totalled. some had water up to their windshield. the owner told us his insurance barely covered damage. his business is at the bottom of the incline or downward slope of the shopping center. the water department says they have million dollar plans to replace the main. the cause of the break is still being determined. across the parking lot, dozens of businesses, including a few 24 hour laundromat and fast fodt stops. we are waiting to find out exactly what plans are for the day along with a huge grocery store. monique braxton, nbc10 news. >>> now to the septa strike. we're

take a look at what sky force was able to capture over a six block area after the attempt by police officers to stop a gunman ended in a shoot-out. initially, police officers attempted to stop the armed male in the 1900 block of clementine. when he ran, officers chased him to the 3,000 block of helen. investigators say he fired at them there. they returned fire, but the gunman continues running to the 2900 block of amber street. another group of officers attempted to stop the man there. when they fired, the gunman was hit multiple times in the torso and legs. we've learned he's 33 years old and is in critical but stable condition at honaman hospital. during the shoot-out, a woman in her mid 30s was hit in the calf. she was taken to honaman, as well. since that time, the innocent bystander who was caught in the crossfire has been treated and released. you're going to hear from police within the next half hour.. live now, monique braxton, nbc news. >>> new overnight, a cherry hill police cruiser has been involved in a two-car crash. it happened near kingston drive. police are not telling us th

sky force 10 was over the scene last night in north philadelphia. police are looking for the young man that fired more than two dozen bullets into neighbors' backyards. officer anglo romero was outside when the gunman opened fire. the off duty officer took shots to the hand and leg while covering his toddler. he did not have his weapon with him, the shooter got away. >> i went out the side door, i could see this fellow shooting toward these houses to there. >> glad the two-year-old is not truck. fortunately he's going to be okay. >> neighbors describe him as a dedicated family man. >>> could the shooting that injured that police officer be linked to a deadly shooting nearby? that's what investigators look into as they killed a man in north philadelphia. this scene close by to the last one. the victim died after being shot several times inside a car. there are no arrests yet in this case. >>> in other news this weekend, 30,000 runners are in center city for the philadelphia marathon. today, the half marathon tops the series of race weekend events. lo

sky force 10 was over a six block scene after they attempted to stop a gunman and that stop ended in a shoot-out. initially, uniformed officers tried to get the man to stop in the 1900 block of clementine because they saw him with a weapon. >> at some pointed in time, they actually see this male tucking a gun into his waistband area. that gets the officers to stop him or attempt to stop him. when they go to stop him, he flees on foot from them. >> police say the officers chased him to the 3,000 block of helen. investigators say there they fired at him, they returned fire, but the gunman continued running to the 2900 block of amber street. five officers also in uniform joined the pursuit, attempting to stop the man there. police say whether they fired, the gunman was hit multiple times in the torso and legs. we've learned he is 32 years old and in stable condition at the hospital. he's being treated. in the meantime, this investigation is being led by internal affairs as well as east detectives. we're going to stay on top of it and have more in 30 minutes. live now outside police head
