starting off here on "skycam 3" all is calm, all is quiet. we have cloud cover out there. i'll show you what that is reflecting on storm scan3 in a second. but starting things offer just with a look at "skycam 3" overlooking center city, current conditions at the airport thrown over top here, 33 degrees northeast component to the winds flow it, does certainly make it feel chillier. now notice on storm scan, with the tri-state sweep that we are finding a little hint of moisture out there. i've been looking around at all of the area observations, i can't find any of this verifying on the grounds anywhere. in other words you're finding a lot of clouds, but you are probably not finding much in the way of any precipitation out of this. so, you know don't worry too much about that moisture that you are finding there. rather just looking at clouds, this is also a perfect excuse for eyewitness weather watcher network to jump right in. if you live down the shore in delaware, little us -- let us know what you are finding. we should hit into the low 40's at well around the rest of th

we take you out there, "skycam 3" looking clear for the moment over philadelphia, 40 degrees the currents coming out of the north at 8 miles per hour, and here's what you you've got. sometimes you know, you find things that aren't actually verifying at the grounds level on storm scan. so while you do have some sort of glimpse of green showing up around philadelphia, it doesn't necessarily mean that they are actual raindrops falling from the sky. put things into motion, pull being every moisture pent up, into cape may that's generally where you have got the best shot to find a shower out there. as the day progresses, though, everybody can expect at least little sunshine, certainly some clouds, and we'll get the temperatures into the mid 40's, for you. but again, it is upright quiet day all things considered, despite the package every colds front, we are quieting down it, looks like that's actually going toned up being our big story here, as the week progresses. not even just to wrap up the year, but also to kick off new one, the cold air returns but we are expecting some sunshine. jess, w

"skycam 3", definitely foggy start there. and here's why.is a sure sign that we've got moisture building in the atmosphere, right? you can see the cloud cover, thickening in advance of what's to come. some rain on the way here. warmfront, cold front will cross through, comes through with relatively fanfare, knocks the temperatures back, so, today's really the active weather day for most of the week, in fact. 36 degrees the current temperature meanwhile at the airport, here's the thing, dew point really close to these values, in other words, the moisture content measurement in the atmosphere is very close to the actual air temperature. and that will saturate the air mass and lead to fog. that's really just sort of how it all develops. and then we've got enough light winds to allow that to develop, too. today tracking some rain it, generally looks as though, the raindrops begin to really fall here around the lunch hour. if you are going to be out this afternoon, evening, i highly suggest an umbrella, some kind of wet weather gear if you have t
