what would you give up to keep your smartphone? >> a new survey says that americans are willing to give up almost everything to hang on to those phones. you ready for this? the survey by the technology firm telenab says more than half of americans would rather give up alcohol, caffeine, and chocolate for a -- yes, gasps in the newsroom -- for a week before temporarily parting with their cell phones. and you saw this coming. 1/3 would give up sex. 22% of the smartphone users would give up their toothbrushes. this jumps to 40% for iphone users. 21 first would go shoeless. and 66% of people sleep with their smartphones by their side. >> that is not good. i would give it -- i would give up my smartphone in a second. >> yes, i could do without it for a while. this might not come as a surprise, especially around here. the survey nund iphone users are the big -- found that iphone users are the biggest culprits. >> some compare a day weren't the internet to quitting drinking or smoking. >> we can get by. we can just get by. we're back in a
