so in any case i say that as background. again the concept free city college i love. i certainly would love to hear more detailed plan how it's rolled out and more details exactly who will serve and so forth. with that being said and perhaps the unique position of chair of the committee committee i don't think we should have these conversations on a one off basis and similar separate supplementals and one off discussions and votes immigration, on homeless services and street trees, what have you. this needs to be taken together. yesterday it was a hearing request for a budget and finance committee to hear about the outlook of the budget, the five year outlook that is published hopefully next week as well as the mayor's budget instruction s and the projected deficit we're facing and combined with the short fall in this current fiscal year so from my perspective i think we should be entertaining all of the discussions together and irresponsible to have them separately and not acknowledging that we're competting for finite amount of dollars here in san francisco and we're

yesterday didn't he go so well. no he cityes trolleys or subways running with this septa strike day two. so people hitting the regional rails. here's a warning. we saw half an hour delays yesterday across-the-board with regional rails but there were a few lines that saw about an hour delay and that was the chestnut hill west line paoli thorndale and fox chase. those are the lines there we're keeping a close eye on and we'll see how that evolves today but certainly expect delays with regional rails and last night we had extra problems with picketers blocking the entrance to some of the rail yards so we'll have to see if that is an issue for us today as well. so, take the regional rails but expect some pretty big delays. it was just gridlock in center city so looking live here at the vine street at north broad street we can see traffic moving fine. if you can get out really early that's your best bet of course. those delays spilled out from the vine street expressway onto the ben franklin bridge and it was difficult yesterday ev

good morning. >> and so crippling for your morning commute to think septa just not running. this is day one here. city running. suburban buses are running. so you can take the suburban buses. we've got the market and frankford subways not running. that's a big one. also not running, trolley routes 10, 11, 13, 15, 34, 36. now the 101, one oh he two trolley they are running as well as the norristown high speedline. trying to understand for you what's running and not running but certainly causing so many problems through the morning. you can take the regional rails but we're already having problems with overcrowding with the regional rails so we expect that especially as you get to those stops closer to the city. as we've seen many times already with the problems that we've had with regional rails, we've seen the trains just bypassing certain stations. they have added some extra trains to try to help with this but we expect overcrowding with the regional rails to be a major issue. as we look outside live on i-95 expecting more people on the roads and right now we've got an accident. this is on i-95 here
