here's a live look... 900 acres near solimar beach in ventura county. that's about 70 miles northwest of los angeles. authorities issued a mandatory evacuation order for solimar, and voluntary evacuations for nearby faria beach. here's some aerials taken earlier of the fire.... the famous pacific coast highway is shut down, and officials have also halted railroad traffic. no word yet on what started this fire. we are tracking this and will continue to bring you the latest updates. thanks carlo... we turn now to a developing story... a valley is desperatly searching for her missing husband againtoday. 72-year-old wallace inkenbrandt was last seen leaving his home to run an errand on thursday. the search has led police all the way to the california state line. as you can imagine, it's been a very emotional few days for the family. his wife says wallace left the house thursday morning and headed to the walmart near craig and mlk. relatives visiting from out of town. at about noon - she got a text from him saying he was almost home - but he never showed up.
