in soma, in the tenderloin and in queer neighborhoods we see lots of new housing being built, we see new cranes in the sky and people in our community being kicked out onto the street and members of the lgbt community where this city has become being forced to the east bay, to portland, to southern california to communities outside of our own. we've had enough. we want to see some of the development happening in this city happening for all members of the queer community for low income members of the queer community for middle income of the queer community, all we get are empty promises. we don't see action. we see people on the streets and housing being built, but not being built for us. what we are asking you to do is give the people of this city the chance to talk about the kind of housing they want. to talk about the housing they want to be able to stay in our homes. on behalf of our club members, i ask you today to let the voters decide what kind of housing they want in san francisco and let the voters take the action that we haven't seen coming out of this building in november.

i know that we have also a relationship as well, not just on trans bay but the soma redevelopment area plan as well and it's been incredible to work with you and one thing i can say you are persistent in making sure that the goals of the redevelopment area plans are achieved and i certainly got to experience that on a number of projects throughout district 6, but it was really important i think to have your level of advocacy and lobbying especially with the -- [inaudible] following the disillusionment of the state agency through state action and one particular item that we worked on was the police sub station and it was quite a bit of advocacy over two years but you were a key piece of that and we worked with the director who made that happen quickly and had a tremendous impact on the neighborhood and every time i am on 6th street residents are thanking our office for the establishment of the sub station or the state hub and you were a leader making sure we were all working to make that project happen so please come up. >> well, thank you board members. this is really much appreciated.

so as they made their way from soma up to that launch point there. that saves a lot of driving, because you would have had to drive 101 or 280, that's where we were warning people for the potential for the motorcade that hasn't happened. and they're taking the air route. they'll go down to los altos hills. there's a couple of possibilities. bob's over here off of 280, and there's a good area where they potentially could land. there's a field there. we used to play football there when i was in high school, but a nice flow of traffic through the area. watch for some activity there. if it's not there, there's another option over here at moffett field in mountain view. you can see the landing strip there. and you would have to come through the city. but either one, a very possible, just off 101 or 280. we haven't seen any closures registering just yet through this area, but we will continue to track that, and as they make their way back up towards san francisco, and 1:20, 1:30, that's about where they're going to leave from the area of sfo. south bay and
