some of the lows, 37 in kentwood, near sonoma, 38. st. helena, 39. it looks like we're starting to bounce off the morning lows. some low to mid-40s. a little warmer on the peninsula. redwood city is at 48. oakland airport at 49. they were -- 48. they were at 46. highs today, 60s and 70s. but these are low 70s. tomorrow we'll burn these up and probably as well into sunday as high pressure settles in to what looks like a fabulous weekend. the cool air, though, still in place. it will take a day to get that modified. warmer temperatures beginning to kick in and we'll just carry that into saturday as well. so sunny, mostly sunny, i mean there's some high clouds. most that is clearing out. overall, it will get out of here and then temperatures warm up. once you get to the end of april and may, the days are a lot longer. 60s, 70s, low 70s. a little bit cooler on the coast and giants are at home tonight. 7:15. padres, clear, breezy. it will be a chilly. but it will be mostly clear and nice. speaking of nice, that will carry us into saturday. even warmer on

into north bay there are thunderstorms which, foremost of the day were off shore but now moving to sonoma county coastline there. is rain moving into lower marin county as well down to the golden gate. pulling back you can see rain pushing through golden gate now in a large area of rain in the east bay around dublin and moving rapidly. most centered around dublin, now pushing eastward this, system getting better organized. a wider view, you can see thunderstorms, some severe over coastal waters most of the day beginning to push towards mainland now. and mainland, towards the coast. most activity appears to be moving to our north. more turbulent weather that. doesn't mean we won't see a thunderstorm here. it's going to be an interesting evening and overnight period. more details coming up later. >> thank you. >> and heavy overnight rain in san francisco flooded parts of the mission district with raw sewage. the mess is at folsom and 17th streets and a problem people are familiar with. nick smith is live with what the story plans to do about it. nick? >> the residents just told me they, too
