sonoma county just put forward $250,000 to do a feasibility study for their c.c.a. and some of you might know that sonoma county has been doing prerptory work for the buildout -- preparatory work for the buildout that advocates have kept advocating for here in san francisco, the full detailed plan for the buildingout for their c.c.a., so that they're getting ahead of the game on local distributed generation renewables and efficiency. and so i'd add that to the note on the progress at the local san francisco utilities commission, on dual tract that we've been talking about. in a really nice way, marine can represent the track that the sfpuc and lafco staff seems to be leaning towards, sonoma represents the track that we have finally gotten agreed to, to actually plan out the entire local buildout and so as we move both those tracks forward, we should be looking at sonoma to see how it differs from marine and how we can have sort of a dialect between those two to educate bus how to do our own and do both tracks. one note on sort of statewide issues, i just noticed tod

gas is being blamed for an explosion today that forced the evacuation of a high-tech company in sonoma county. the accident happened at agilent technologies. it is our top story at 7:00. jana katsuyama is live with continuing coverage. >> reporter: gasia, we now know the name of the worker who was injured. this is the building he was injured, building one. the building was evacuated and workers tell me it was scary. a chemical explosion set off fire alarms around 10:30 a.m. hazmat crews were called in and they evacuated the building. many heard the blast. >> it was really loud to we felt on the floor. >> reporter: were you scared? >> yeah. >> reporter: the explosion happened when two maintenance workers were cleaning lab equipment. >> the equipment is used for production of integrated circuits. that equipment needs to be maintained and cleaned. >> reporter: one worker received severe burns on his face and torso. fire crews had to rescue him and the other had at mild injuries. >> i am kind of shocked that something happened really. >> reporter: some workers say maintenance crews to clean machi

is in the hospital after dramatic rescue in north bay point happened last night on highway 1 in sonoma county. a car plunged 70 feet down a cliff trapping a mother, father, and a young child inside that car. using ropes and baskets firefighters went down the cliff and rescued the family. a helicopter air lifted them. no word on their condition. >>> a nevada man that is accused of killing four men this morning is supposed to appear in court this morning. he's accused of four cold case murders dating back to 1970s. the body of rock own was found along the road. naso struck again killing 42- year-old carmen in contra costa county. prosecutors say they will try also for all four murders. >> the allegation of that special circumstance makes naso eligible for the death penalty under california law. >> prosecutors say they saw evidence inside home during a probation search linking him to those killings he is being held without bail. we did talk to the family of one of the bay areas victims. oxen's body -- roxene's body was found and the family had given up hope of finding a suspect. >> i thought it
