just a few clouds for the south bay and 52. the east bay will have a sunny start. and a little bit of clouds lingers in san francisco. the largest change in the forecast is the cold area of low pressure that's been with us the past three days is pushing right here across nevada, new mexico colorado. as you will see, by saturday and sunday, we're good for at least a 10-degree warmup. so hotter, sunnier weather right through memorial day weekend. with the dry weather coming our way, i thought it was noteworthy that we take a look at how we've done so far for the rainfall season. let's look at that. with our el nino in place, we didn't see nearly as much rainfall as we had in 1997 and 1998's el nino, but certainly respectable. 90% of average in santa rosa. no doubt this helped our drought, but of course we need another strong sson as we head throughout next year. hopefully we'll get that. as we take a look at our micro climate forecast you can see the beautiful weather for the south bay. numbers going up three to six degrees. over to morgan hill, 77. and for the penin

south bay at 64 degrees. 61 in the east bay. three nights ago, we were talking about 90s at this hour. san francisco a chilly 57. the north bay at 69. through tomorrow morning, we're not going to see too much in the way of a sunny start with the fog at the immediate coastline and the approaching storm, it will be partly sunny to mostly cloudy sky and a chance here of some showers in the south bay and 52. the east bay begins at 51 and the north bay also in the low 50s. so here's the area of low pressure. next two days the system lingers across californiament for tomorrow morning, not a huge chance much showers. but a chance of scattered activity through free monts and san jose. by the afternoon, the best possibility transitions up into wine country. maybe towards middletown and calistoga. overall, a greatest chance for planning is on the first part of the weekend on saturday morning. it will be scattered in nature. we'll have the cloud cover with us. temperatures will remain cooler. we may see an isolated thunderstorm or two pop
