in the south bay, we're going to see those highs in gilroy reach 94 degrees. lpitas is reaching 90 degrees and still hot for the inland east bay. we're not looking at upper 90s today and comes down a few degrees and it is still going to m expect comfortable with some upper 60s in the north bay anywhere from the upp u 90s. and we had a lot of storms blow up over this area yesterday. we're still seeing that rain over parts of southern california and we're feeling the humidity and a slight chance that some of that monsoonal moisture could trigger an isolated thundershower or two across the bay area. we'll watch out for that tonight and tomorrow morning and then we head into the weekend with more hot weather. in fact, those temperatures hitting over 100 degrees. we'll see some very hot weather headed our way and it really hits us saturday and sunday and then comes down early next week into the mid to upper 80s. san francisco will be in the mid-70s. also warming up there for the weekend. getting out on the roads, how is it looking so far? >> i'm still trying to get

nice in the south bay, mid to upper 80s. the bay, going to be stuck in the 60s and 70s pretty much each day. even when we get to our hottest day on saturday. all right, let's take a look at my accuweather seven-day forecast. going to be warm sunday and monday for the most part. by tuesday and wednesday, we're starting to fall back into the 70s and 80s, which is closer to t i t og e'oo moin told you about a few minutes ago on 680 and fremont. this is north of washington boulevard. five to six vehicles involved, and someone was driving at a high rate of speed weaving in and out of traffic. that's most likely what caused that collision. just the far left lane is blocked and it's countercommute so we're not seeing too much of a backup. we have a crash on southbound 680 near vargas road. don't have many details in on that collision. as you can see we're heavy. we're typically a little heavier in volume through this area anyway. i think we may have a lane taken away judging by that. hopefully we'll get more information soon. mass t

north bay, east bay, down to the south bay. it is going to erode. we will have mostly sunny skies away from the coastline for today. some of our far inland areas in the east bay will reach about 90 degrees. a tad bit of warming coming our way as well. we've been watching the visibility over the north bay and along the coastline. dropped down to a quarter mile. for some along 101 as well as highway 1. hopefully not a lot of folks on the roadway. if you have a place to be, just know that over areas of our north bay valley locations, as well as highway 1, seeing a little bit of patchy fog. the on shore breeze at fairfield is sustained at 20. concord reporting 12. and oakland reporting 10 for that bit of on shore breeze, going to make it feel cool if you're getting outdoors early. into the afternoon, we'll go mostly sunny. for hayward, upper 70s. in the north bay, 87 santa rosa. for the inner east bay, some of our hotter location, 90 expected for antioch. we'll continue with this pattern as we go into your bay area saturday and cool into sunday and beyon

let's go to the south bay right now, with our mid 80s back again later today, reaching 85 in east sanose, and gilroy will see a high of 87 degrees. there will still be 90s in the east bay. pittsburg up to 92 degrees and in danville we'll see a high there reaching 89 degrees and fremont today up to 83. we're also going to see some 70s and 80s in much of the peninsula, but staying cool in daly city and half moon bay, with some lower 60s there, and we'll be up to about 68 degrees today in the mission district, and i novato today expect a high of 84 there, and ukiah reaching 89 degrees. so we're still in this weather pattern with high pressure across the desert southwest. very typical, no changes here, and we still have a wide range in temperatures from the coast to the inland areas. as we get closer to the weekend, we start to see an area of low pressure moving in across the pacific northwest. this won't give us a big change in our weather but this stronger ocean breeze could help cool off our temperatures a few more degrees. we're looking at upper 80s for the inland areas again today an
