a super cell thunderstorm just south of oklahoma city. expanding the view, you can see a lot of tornado warnings and also severe thunderstorm warnings from, say just outside of dallas moving all the way through oklahoma as well as kansas. but thankfully nothing severe closer to our area. we've been getting a reprieve from the heat. but look at the temperatures today. 77 that was the high. several degrees above average. but certainly not the mid 80s like we've seen the past two days. 70 degrees right now across our area. winds out of the east at about 13 miles an hour. so some parts of the area seeing some pockets of drizzle and some light sprinkles if you're stepping outdoors early on but most of us are going to stay dry dry. we have 75 in wilmington. 64 pottstown. low 60s right now in the pocono mountains, and once again not a whole lot of action on ultimate doppler. we'll zoom in. you can see just a few sprinkles just north of the philadelphia area. some of this activity around plymouth meeting moving toward bensalem. once again it's no

that's when briefly in the south city and eventually here in daly city where this wreck happened with the driver of the dump truck wrapping the vehicle around the utility pole. and again, colliding with that minivan, send that minivan into a parked car. inside the minivan, 16-year-old girl, 20-year-old person and another person in that car. one of those people transported with serious injuries. the other two with minor injuries. we just spoke with a police officer who tells me that the driver of the stolen truck did try to get away but didn't get far was captured here on the scene and that driver taken to the hospital we believe with minor injuries. again, none of these injuries are life threatening and here at san jose at this intersection in daly city is going to be a few hours before it's reopened. not only do you have to remove all the debris from the dump truck and the minivan but there's a lot of diesel out here. they put absorbent material on the ground but they have to clean that up as well. reporting live in daly city, bob redell, "today in the bay." >> thank you, bob. >>> it

the heaviest rain looks like it wants to be south and east of the redwood city area. with snow in the mountains and a winter storm warning, it will come in tomorrow. this is the current satellite radar loop. over the top, you see the clouds increasing. in about 6 to 8 hours, we're going to see showers start to show up along the coast. a chance of a thunderstorm as well tomorrow. rainfall accumulations could get up to a half inch, maybe even more, and kind of the big story is that winter storm warning. a lot of this rain that falls is going to run into the bay. the snow in the mountain, if we get a foot and a half of show it's going to help with some of the watershed. we'll roll it into your bay area tomorrow and time out your commutes. just know, you'll probably need umbrellas for a time tomorrow.

that's what we're seeing south of oklahoma city. take a welcome at the nation. this is the airport evacuating toward oklahoma city. they do have places for people to go underground and toward the airport. this is will rogers airport. you can see the people trying to get down there. this storm fortunately for the airport is just south of the airport. including one around the city of wichita. look at this. a classic hook echo. this is amazing. making its way off to the north and east. here's the town of moore which has been devastated by tornadoes. another one two years ago in 2013. completely took moore almost off the map. this looks like it will go to the south of moore, oklahoma. also norman oklahoma. new castle has had reports of some damage around that region. you just don't see this very often. a classic hook that will make its way to the north and east. we'll see much more of this. nbc news will have much more as well. for us it is not severe. we're still dealing with the showers and thunderstorms through montgomery county. down toward rappahannock. and i w
