and areas south and east. south of 66.of town again no problems except for an isolated sprinkle with that front that's coming through which will eventually get rid of the fog and lead us to a pretty good day. let's talk, though, about sunday. i want to give you the checklist. when thinking about a good snow for d.c., certain things we're looking at. we're looking at cold air, moisture and the storm track. cold air is in the medium range. we'll have enough cold air i believe and the moisture, there's plenty of moisture coming up out of the south. that's not a problem. then the only concern for snow lovers is the track. that's low to medium right now. this is why we can't tell you exactly how much snow is going to fall because depending on that track, this could miss us to the south or this could clobber us. we could get anywhere from zero -- i've seen mondays spit out 10, 11 inches of snow. i'm not buying into that but i just want to tell you there's a tremendous range of possibilities that could still happen as we get into

couple of sprinkles still left south and east of town. and boy, it rained heavily down south today, like culpeper, to colonial beach and down to parts of southern maryland got hammered, a 1.3-inch total even. weather-watcher in reidville, but just about done in the afternoon so looking up. here's our day planner. temperatures will be kind of holding where they are, maybe a few degrees warmer as we climb into the mid and possibly upper 50s but with northwest wind at 5 to 10 miles an hour that will try to bring in cooler air this afternoon. and by 9:00 tonight, clear skies down in the 40s, little windchill starts to kick in. and we'll be in the 30s by tomorrow morning, so no more 70s. yesterday managed to get to 72. one batch of showers, then a second batch of rain. yellows and oranges, south and east of us. and west now we're started to go see the sunshine. one little last sliver of showers here, trying to hold together but just south crossing 50, about to cross 301, and moving through forestville, on the beltway and prince george's county.

we'll continue to keep an eye on it, mainly south and east, kind of ay. 35.re three degrees above the freezing mark at bwi right now. we scan show you when it really did come down with some of our hd weather bug cameras, a pretty decent accumulation. even a few of the paveed surfaces when you get this far north in carroll county, some of it sticking. bel air got snow in the afternoon but it kept melting on contact. ellicott city further south snow comes downs in the afternoon but only on the grass. after sunset we see a light accumulation, less than half an inch. even in frostburg, a lot was not sticking. early afternoon snow event has cleared out, very light accumulations even in western maryland. visibility still reduced where the snow is coming down, hagerstown and york. here's our winter weather advisory. the northern tier through 8:00, so a little over an hour or so that will be coming down. the freeze line just north and west of baltimore, york two below, and you get the idea. as you go north and west a little more accumulation. north and west we'ive de

was a young woman who was forced into marriage in a very conservative part of the country in the south east she was forced into marriage at the age of around thirteen and from somewhere she was getting a lot of abuse in this home and she was very unhappy and she found it in his up to run away which when you're coming from an area of the country where women are not seen on the streets alone imagine a girl she was now fourteen or fifteen making her way from the southeast of the country all the way to kabul and there she found shelter she was lucky. that she then found that had husband's family rose up against a they called upon a lot of the tribal elders in that area they were furious they felt like she brought shame upon her they got the support of parliament they got the support of the minister of interior is an indication of quite how conservative those views are even in the heart of government and in the end this girl faced the president's office the minister of interior parliamentarians and they said to her you must go home you for seamus and she said no if you send me back to that villa

east. the critical time will be in the next couple of hours -- then it rained south and east. a pink carroll county and northern baltimore county and the northwestern section sucker harford county, might get a light coating of snow create the northwestern section of around harbor county. south and east is much warmer, just rain showing up on the radar down around ocean city and those locations. the system is winding down in the western maryland mountains. only a couple more hours you will have to deal with this. brown the metro area it is, mostly among -- mostly above freezing out. with these warm temperatures and the warm winter we have had without frozen ground, precipitation falls and almost just melts on contact. out to the north and west, 1.5 inches of snow on the ground in the colder areas. for the next couple of hours, then the storm is winding down. the national weather service is maintaining this winter weather advisory. some slippery spots could occur in some of those colder northern suburbs and out and western maryland as well. no advisory up for south-central pennsy
