doctors are saying tonight about michael sanchez, found yesterday in a ditch near highway 101, in south san jose, a week after his truck crashed. sanchez, left on the side of the highway, without food or water for all that time. george kiriyama is live in san jose, with how santos is doing tonight. >> reporter: we talked with michael sanchez's doctor here at regional medical center. we're learning how the 25-year-old is doing. and how far he still has to go. >> i don't think he had a lot of time left to lay out there. >> reporter: dr. bruce wilber has been keeping a close eye on michael sanchez, since he was brought into regional medical center on tuesday. >> anybody over 60 would not have survived this. because he's 25 years of age, the young body can survive things and has more resiliency than when you're older. >> reporter: sanchez was found alive, a week after the highway patrol said he crashed off highway 101. witnesses reported the accident and saw a man walk away from the scene. dr. wilber tells me, there's no doubt sanchez had moved in a week. >> all you have to do is look at his back. h
