. >> john: one of the big differences between the east coast of south carolina and the west coast of florida there is a substantial natural dune system built up along the atlantic coast. do you believe the dune system is high enough it will keep most of the water from flooding the areas beyond it? >> you know, luckily we have not had a storm in a while, so the dunes have had an opportunity to build up. like i said, i'm looking out of my kitchen window, i can see the waves from across the street, so i don't know that they will hold up completely. i hope that they will, because you know, beach renourishment is a big issue for our area, but you know, we are just praying for the best. >> gillian: you did have a little bit, not as much as, you know, colleagues over in charleston but had some, a little bit oto hunker down to bear the brunt of the storm, to be maybe in the eye for landfall. for city officials now, what's the top priority as you are waiting for the storm to hit? what are the last-minute adjustments anyone is trying to execute? >> we have already executed everything that we c
