southeast moose mass and then pulling away quickly toward nova scotia by tomorrow afternoon. tropical storm warnings make the southern part of the chesapeake, the southern delmarva, southeastern virginia. our area beaches not under any tropical storm warnings but obviously it's going to be an ugly day at the beach. i would still go this weekend because i think the weekend will still be all right. temperatures slowly climbing to the mid-70s. winds east to northeast at 10 to 20 here in town with occasional gusts a little higher than that. then by 8:00, 9:00 if not earlier, things will start to taper from this heavier, steadier rain more to showers as andrea is coming up from the south. we did have some heavy rains overnight. those have drifted well up to the north and east now. they're really across areas in northern maryland, over toward elkton and headed toward philly with spotty light showers. you see how south of fredricksburg we're seeing more of that green. that's the leading edge of andrea's rainfall headed our way. with the rain overnight and yesterday and boy there was a lot of rain out west yesterday but east of the blue ridge, we're expecting quite a bit of rain. in fact east
