. >>> now back to that breaking news out of southern california. if you're just waking up, here is what we're learning at this hour. this is a mass shooting. 13 people are dead including a sheriff's deputy and the gunman. up to 12 others are injured. this all unfolded around 11:20 last night. this is when the suspect open fire inside a crowded bar in thousand oaks. this is 40 miles west of l.a. police say that several hundred people were inside that bar. this is the borderline bar & grill at the time of the shooting. that bar was hosting a college country night when that shooting happened. >>> there's a lot of new information coming in minute by minute. let's take a look at where the shooting happened. in thousand oaks, as you mentioned, marcus, about 40 miles west of los angeles. the rockets are being fired now into southern israel. shep, behind me is a bakery in israel, a small scity just over the border. i'm watching interceptions taking place. one rocket was not intercepted by the iron dome, the israeli missile defense. they have a number of positions across southern israel to prevent mass casualty situati s situations. throughout this year, a few rockets have made it past. when you have 300 projectiles, not all of them are intercepted. the bakery did take a direct hit. firefighters have been trying to put out the fire. it is very difficult. as rocket fire continues, you saw earlier with the firefighters around me, ultimately, what you see here is the scene behind me. there are some residents from the area coming to check it out. >> anybody get hurt in the bakery? >> reporter: firefighters frying to put out this blaze. in the bakery, shep, from what we understand, no one was hurt at this location. israeli media is reporting some minor injuries. that bus that was hit by a anti-tank missile fired from the gaza s
