look at what is coming up from southern california and central california. a lot of moisture, some lightning strikes already detected there off the central california coast. some of that work its valley. oakland up 10 from 74 to 84. concord from 95 to 101 today. san jose from 83 to 92. morgan hill and gilroy will be closed to about 99 degrees. 49 santa rosa. 61 concord. 65 livermore. 65 fairfield. there are some very warm temperatures. look at the 40s. hillsburg, petaluma, point rays, mill valley. 56 napa american canyon. it was a cool day on tuesday. cool and windy. that is long gone and it is not coming back anytime soon here. it will be very hot. especially friday and saturday. that is a lot of moisture, tropical moisture that is filtering northward. some of that will play into our forecast. 70s, 80s, 90s and 100s going to be very hot. i've seen some projections about 108 to 110 on saturday. didn't go that hot but i went pretty close. a lot of cloud cover coming in. that makes it hotoments ago thew unemployment numbers came out. we will tell you how many

let me show you what is happening in southern california. so, we're getting a surge of some humidity and it's firing off some storms. we're seeing some storms also moving inland, but the bulk of all the lightning that we're seeing is off the coast. now, hopefully this helps with the lake fire down there just north of santa clarita but as of right now we're also seeing some lightning strikes, which is not good. as this system moves closer to the bay area, the rain loo in, especially later this evening. but notice all the clouds that will be rolling from south to north. that is the humidity and that will keep our temperatures from cooling off that much tonight and then by saturday, the humidity gradually starts to drop after the remnants of that tropical system move on by. we combine the humidity with temperatures over 100 degrees. it's going to be oppressive tomorrow. so, make sure you're taking breaks and staying hydrated and then even for saturday as the humidity continues to go down, the hot weather remains. we're still looking at hot temp
