southern new hampshire. back into western new england. even some embedded pockets of rain down toward new york city, this all stretching off to the north, northeast, so i only expect the rain to increase in intensity during the evening commute before 10:00 p.m. and midnight tonight. behind it we try to dry out a little bit. still can't rule out an isolated shower tomorrow morning across the cape and the islands and southeastern mass, but the bulk we will be getting will be -- i think the rainfall starts to taper off, but .5" to 1" of rainfall locally dense out there through worcester, down to a mile in bedford. mile down in providence, so we do have reduced visibility. temperature wise all over the place from the mid 50s down through southeastern mass to the low 40s across southern new hampshire. these numbers not moving all that much overnight tonight. so i do expect temperatures in the 40s overnight. even in the 50s down into southeastern mass. the rain shop wrap up by about midnight. we'll talk more of the weekend forecast. >> a dance

a lot of sunshine, eastern half of southern new england. if you look to the southwest of us, temperatures once again, in the 50's. st. louis, down through the tennessee valley. this is the air that will be riding back into new england. and it has some staying power as we go through next week. eventually, the winds will pick back up. you know, we we are close to not as strong as yesterday. tomorrow we are right back gusting over 30 miles an hour at times. this time that wind is out of the south, southwest. you know that's a warmer wind direction for us. we take a look at the forecast model. very quiet across new england today. tomorrow, more clouds around. especially in the afternoon. but limited chances of rain for monday. a couple scattered showers, certainly a possibility on tuesday. they are scattered about, though. it is not like tuesday's an all-day rain event. widespread shower activity could be with this band late wednesday, wednesday night. wednesday night highlighting the opportunity to pick up on some rain. some showers may linger
