southern pines, 29 in rocky mount and 29 in yetteville. temperatures are pretty normal for this time of year. the windchill makes it like 23 in southern pines and 22 in goldsboro and roxboro. again, that is cool but nothing compared to what we will see tomorrow morning. this is a look at the current actual temperature. look at the single digits for pittsburgh, arleston, and minus 4 in chicago. i is coming from the west so this cold areas been transported to north carolina and flow in here all day long. it's 30 now which doesn't seem too bad but it's probably going to be 30 at noon, and i've only 35. this is future cast at 10:00 a.m., maybe colder than it is right now even with sunshine at 10:00 a.m. 8 in cincinnati, 10 in pittsburgh, 28 or 29 by lunchtime. this afternoon, staying in the teens back to the west and we get in the teens, mid to upper teens, asheville at 5. it could be even worse. but, the windchill will make it feel even closer than that. i will show you the windchill coming up in a few minutes. lunchtime, 25 degrees and we onl

it's over here, now coming out of the rockys and into the southern plaines and it will southern plaines and really intensify as it reaches carolina during the day on friday and especially friday night and saturday. meanwhile, we'll have blocking high pressure up across southern canada, which will supply a lot of cold air into the storm, something the storm so far this but this one will. the challenge is that that blocking high too much for the storm to overcome. last night we talked about two potential tracks, that potential is still there, but i'm still leaning on track 2. i think it's more of a southerly track, meaning that new england is on the northern fringe of this storm, and so here's your storm timeline as we work through the day on saturday. again, nothing in boston, but there you go. there's the steadier precipitation showing on long island. so very high confidence that you're gonna see very heavy snow along the 95 corridor middle atlantic states. but much less so as you work up into new england. i think just a slight chance of some heavy snow possible across extreme southern

here we go: monday, big storm through the four corner region, lots of heavy snow for the southern half of the rockies, a little bit of rain you get a little farther south some scatter snow farther north, off to the eastern parts of the country showers along this first cold front, this will bring in some cold air setting it up for the big snow storm for the middle of the country. now by wednesday, this storm is already into the northern great lakes. the track of it is going to make a big difference in whether you get heavy snow or heavy rain or both where you live. it is probably going to take a track east and then cut up northward into the great lakes, but it is a little farther east, but you may get snow where they are forecasting in parts of the western great lakes the way it looks right now for wednesday with rain along the east coast, but most of the western parts of the country just becoming very cold and that's going to continue as we head into friday. very cold air for the eastern half of the country, a few lingering snow showers in the great lakes, maybe a couple of showers in south florida a
