travelers traveling southwest airlines should check their flights today. the airlines experienced a computer glitch. as suzanne kennedy explains, many will not take their flight to their final destination on time. goinge: operations are back to normal for southwest airlines after a rocking 18 hours due to a computer glitch. the hundreds of flights had to be canceled or delayed. if you take a look over here at the departures board, you can see that many flights are on time, so a rapidly improving situation. many air travelers got to reagan national airport very early this morning and were surprised by very long lines. some were trying to re-book flights from yesterday for her to others received warnings and got to the airport early to ensure they did not miss their flight. this northern virginia woman's flight was canceled, which means she will not be able to get out until tomorrow. >> i have an infant, so it is not really convenient, and i definitely cannot be changing planes to the airport. that is why i took the national flight so i did not have to get o

yesterday there were long lines at southwest airline ticket counters around the country because the airline computer system crashed causing between the 600 and 700 flights to be canceled . the southwest website was also down. the site is back online this morning and the airline is slowly starting to rebook flights . they started doing that late yesterday. but they're still going to be some backup a cousin of the cancellations and southwest as it is working to fully restore systems for all of today's flights. it apologizes for any of the inconveniences. we haven't heard any word as two what the cause of this computer glitch was. we're going to be monitoring what the southwest folks say to see if we get updates and we will continue to monitor the different flight statuses at the bay area airport. >>> a santa rosa man accused of pledging allegiance to isis and threatening police is due in court this morning. the 27-year-old was arrested on sunday after he told officers to good was home. he just been released for a weapons charge earlier this month. he told police he was angry that he was not b
