we actually have a west/southwesterly wind which in and of itself is starting to dry the air out, notreally that sticky yet but it will be a little oppressive this afternoon, firing up showers in the mountains of west virginia, we'll have more in the afternoon hours. today's two-degree guaranteed forecast, 92 degrees. there's the chance of evening thundershowers popping up. our forecast model on the adonis highlighting the fact we may have some of those storms as soon as 4:30 and maybe clipping north and west of the beltway. as we head on in through this evening some of those showers could be slipping around the city and by the bay itself. so 6:30, going on through this evening, seeing spotty showers. just want to do a timeline here as we go through tomorrow evening at 6:00. there may be another round of showers and thunderstorms. as we go on in through thursday morning the frontal boundary pushes through, we'll get into the cooler air but some lingering moisture along the shoreline could be thrown back our way so we'll have to keep the chance of wet weather on thursday. for tonight,
