this is the medical care unit at the east bay spca in oakland where the sick and injured animals arehen they arrive. most like tetly here will stay just a few weeks but a dog named carrie had injuries so serious her stay was seven months.when she was brought in we guessed that she was probably hit by a car, she had abrasions all over her face, she was limping or her back leg i believe and she could hardly open her eyes she was so cut up.there were moments when we weren't sure she could keep both of her eyes, there was talk about surgery and whether or not we would have to remove one of them.it was really sad, when she first came in it was pretty awful she was in really bad condition.this is carrie since she has found a new home. she loves to play, she really loves to snuggle, she's just a super loving dog.jane kissler and her husband looked for more than a year to find a dog that would be compatible with their great dane. they were not deterred by carrie's medical history.we didn't care just because it was such a good fit for us and we'd been looking for so long for someone just abou

he been abandoned at pennsylvania spca shelter in danville, and he had been at pennsylvania spca for in one took him, he did have some lumps and bumps and he was older so that sort offset him up for a dog that would be staying at the shelter for a while. here's a picture of when i adopted him at the shelter, there we are, and he has been absolutely phenomenal. he had a couple of little lumps and bumps taken off which is never fun for anybody , but, he is doing just great. what i wanted to bring up today because every time, and he works wonderfully with marvin and loves my grandson, ben. ben loves him. so, to find a wonderful dog, and that is why sometimes older pets you really get an idea who that animal is because they are older. they have got a chance to, show their personality. also, i got him a harness because i realized this dog pulls when he walks. i don't want to chock him or stopping him and backing up. he is loose so i have to harness or a gentle leader head collar for any dog thaw have because that will make it easier to take them for walks. if you want to get down that is

this is the medical care unit at the east bay spca in oakland where the sick and injured animals areed for when they arrive. most like tetly here will stay just a few weeks but a dog named carrie had injuries so serious her stay was seven months.when she was brought in we guessed that she was probably hit by a car, she had abrasions all over her face, she was limping or her back leg i believe and she could hardly open her eyes she was so cut up.there were moments when we weren't sure she could keep both of her eyes, there was talk about surgery and whether or not we would have to remove one of them.it was really sad, when she first came in it was pretty awful she was in really bad condition.this is carrie since she has found a new home. she loves to play, she really loves to snuggle, she's just a super loving dog.jane kissler and her husband looked for more than a year to find a dog that would be compatible with their great dane. they were not deterred by carrie's medical history.we didn't care just because it was such a good fit for us and we'd been looking for so long for someone j
