spencer. thanks okay. now we are seeing some of the small handful of impacts tonight, mostly in the north bay. we just got this video into the abc seven newsroom just about an hour ago, where you can see this large mudslide is on highway 128, in geyserville, just about a mile south of chalk hill road. it all happened at about 730. you can see caltrans is on it trying to get that tree out of there. the road is closed indefinitely, so no word yet on any time of reopening. then in marin county, highway one south of tomales is closed in both directions. right now. take a look at this. a car tried to forge the flood waters, but it stalled out under several feet of standing water. firefighters had to escort everyone in the vehicle to safety. the closure is also in place indefinitely from snake road up to tomales, petaluma road, now, the coasts have dealt with whipping winds and hard rain at times. tonight, abc seven news reporter j.r. stone spent much of the day at ocean beach, and he is live for us at the ferry

spencer: i agree. it was a massive number. more massive was the revisions that came on for the past month. i think that the report solidifies march is highly unlikely for a rate cut. i think eventually the bond futures market and the fed stock clock will meet somewhere in the middle and we will get 3-5 -- 3-4 rate cuts in 2024. i think that a better environment for equities then getting six or seven rate cuts. that's more synonymous with a recession that would not be good for corporate profits in any way. so we think that it makes sense for the market to like it. especially if eci was a little weak if we get an inflation rate that is manageable or week that's what we want. fed chairs have always said they don't want a recession and it's not a problem if the labor market is strong. this could be a good environment for equities going forward. haidi: it raises the risk that inflation could stay elevated. is that still an environment equities well-liked, if inflation sticks around the series -- the 3% mark? spencer: one of the big

we have team coverage starting with spencer christian in the storm center and spencer thankfully today a little bit more calm. but tomorrow is a concern, right? >> you're right about that, karina. so we've got lightrillionain right now across the bay area. there may be a few isolated downpours. let's take a close up look. you can see that the rain is becoming more widespread now. we've got some little pockets of steadier rain surging onshore right now, mainly up in the north bay, down through the golden gate into san francisco and onto the northern part of the peninsula. but the storm is going to become more widespread as we get into the next couple of hours, but it's still a light storm. you can see the bigger, stronger storm still offshore, moving in our direction. that will be plowing into the bay area tomorrow. right now, though, we have gusty winds, wind gusts at the coast up to an and over 30mph. the wind will be tapering off a little bit later in the evening. so this is still a level one storm through tonight with continued periods of lightrillionainfall, maybe occasional downpo

spencer was great. it was a joyful weekend of weather and today wasn't bad. >> we had a few sprinkles spots, but that's about it. here's a look at live doppler seven. there's not much happening right now in the way of precipitation in the bay area, although there may be a couple of sprinkles. that's about it. the real action, weather wise, is down in southern california, where this low pressure system is kicking up some pretty substantial rainfall coming our way as this cold front, which triggered the sprinkles today, will bring us some colder air overnight. and right now you can see that it's pretty breezy out there. most locations with wind speeds between about 15 and 20mph. no powerful gusts at the moment. it is noticeably cooler right now than at this than at this time yesterday. generally four to 5 or 6 degrees cooler across the region. and we've got a mix of blue sky and clouds. as you can see, 59 degrees right now at san francisco. and san mateo, half moon bay, 57. we have low 60s at oakland, hay
