just west of spotsylvania. that's what's going to be tracking right into the area where the tornado warning has been issued. again, that tornado warning goes until 5:15, so you're seeing it here with this storm system that is just to the west of spotsylvania, just to the west of fredericksburg. let me pull off the radar again to show you exactly what we're looking at. it's this whole zone in red. so it extends -- let me get a little tighter on the radar. right around stubbs, granite springs area. if you live in this area, just around and west of 208. margo. brook road, flat run, you're in the tornado warning right now that goes until 5:15. a tornado warning issued as we're seeing some indication now based on radar with this very intense storm system that has already produced a number of tornadoes and damage down to the south of it. i'll put the radar back on for you. you can see right there, this little indicator, there's the possibility that we're seeing some spin occurring with it right there as it tracks off

and also stafford and spotsylvania county. this is live. you can see the dark clouds off to the -- what i assume is south or west. not sure which way, it's you south, 95. yeah, i think it's south. we're looking south. that would make some sense because that's where the darker clouds are. that's where radar is showing all of the heavier storms. exit 126. if you haven't left, i would wait and maybe not go down 95 now. if you're going up 70, okay, you can probably make that. but i would not go south of town, especially through stafford, dale city or even towards fredericksburg. that's where the warnings moment. and this is still a tornado warning as well, including triangle and dale city, until 6:00 p.m. that includes prince williams county. and again, that's just south of you in fairfax county. so likely, these are going to be extended northward. we showed you the gate-to-gate shear. they can still be 50-mile-per- hour winds. here's future cast. and it does hold this together pretty well. in fact, very well, considering it's february. hagerst

fairfax, prince william, and spotsylvania counties have all made the same decisions. leon: a big night in the race for the white house, the nevada caucuses closed moments ago. a roller coaster week. staff shakeups, you name it. the big question is who is coming out on top tonight. she's political correspondent scott thuman is live from nevada chief political correspondent scott thuman is live from nevada. i know we don't have the final numbers, but what about the turnout? scott: the turnout was part of the problem tonight. i just got finished speaking with the head of the republican party in nevada, in charge of the caucuses. they have had long lines and short tempers. they had a shortage of ballots at some facilities. there was a lot of concerns and complaints from several of the campaign camps about other issues. for example, they we might shorten a precinct at a caucus site, and the worker handing out ballots may be wearing a t-shirt or hat for a candidate. it is not against the rules, but it is frowned upon. the heads of the gop in the state have encouraged their

the snow melts and rain the flood watch gets further southbound i-95 toward prince william and spotsylvania county. we can get an inch to 2 inches of rain and that goes until tomorrow mornings. the streams, creeks, and rivers the real problem. we have mountains to the west and the clinician to the east and the cold gets stuck in a ledge. leesburg pike 41. fredericksburg 52. project still in the 30s. cold. the shallow and talked to erode . with the warmth coming over the cold and the fog is becoming a problem. visibility's earlier found to 1 quarter of a mile at dulles airport. this will be a problem i think the next few hours. kind of dreary out there. 48 degrees at lunchtime in washington feels like 40 cents with the west, southwesterly wind at 5 mi./h. tail end of the line where we see the heaviest weather but still comes through us and the timing looks like the next 2 to 4 hours the worst of it. by 5:00 the heaviest stuff down towards other st. mary's county and continuing to pull away by reidsville at 7:00. showers here or there overnight especially east of i-95. tomorrow morning start

in fact, schools in facultative certificate year and culpeper and spotsylvania will open two hours late. let's get to sue palka on what we can expect. >> it's not going to be nowhere as bad as it was this morning. those areas have had some heavy rain and snow n all in the 4 hour period. it should be a lot dryer for you tomorrow morning. even with that we have to watch some areas that were sheltered may have some patchy areas for ice overnight. we certainly had a good breeze during most of the day and a lot of it dried up. we had a lot of liquid. we had in some places an inch of rain on top of seven or eight inches of snow. not everything got dried up. so we do want you to watch your step t t. it's not as cold at this hour as it was last night but we're getting there in some spots. we're down 33 in culpeper. it's 31 in the district. 37 in frederick. even with a little bit of cloud cover coming in later tonight i do think we could drop to the district and then north and west watch for some 20s and that's where you'll have a much better chance of running into thesis lated slippery areas. c
