as a kid, i lived in a town called stanton which is around 20 miles away that tornado started in stantonple in them. very small little towns dotted right through there. when i first heard stanton i thought i can't believe that that small town getting the start of this and going over towards wayne. a lot of damage. a lot of damage for a very small town. obviously everybody there knows everybody and is impacted like that. the big tornado tracking on the ground for quite a while. eventually they say 17 tornadoes reported. same tornado continuing to drop down through the area. tracked from just around the nor fork, area which is where stanton is over towards wayne and sioux city and parts of iowa. today this entire -- i should say northwestern parts of iowa. today this storm pulls off towards the east and threat from severe weather from parts of wisconsin all the way down through the mid mississippi river valley. parts of the ohio river valley and then down towards arkansas. i think more we're talking about the threat for some strong winds and some hail but we can't rule out an isolated torn
