stephen moore and fox news contributor. good afternoon to you. 44 percent? >> yeah. >> head of a ol saying it costs them what? sen million a year? >> right. and remember this comes 24 hours after we got news from the congressional budget office that 2 million people will be removed from the work force and now further confirmation. and this was a survey of major players in the country. 44 percent may eliminate health care and drop the employer plans. let's assume that number is right in terms of what employers do. i calculate somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 million americans could lose health insurance or key features because of obama care. >> you stand by that it number. one in five americans lose? >> assuming that the survey is right. >> so the purpose of this conversation if indeed it is right and all of the people hanging in the balance in 10 or 11 months, what is the solution here then? >> great question, i think i would start getting rid of the man date that is imposed on the employers. we delayed that for a year. and why not get rid of the man date

and stephen moore is also with us, an old friend of mine and a guy who understands an immense amount about creating jobs, the chief economist at the heritage foundation. we're glad to have both of them here. ralph, i just want to ask you for a second because even the latest report that says there will be 500,000 jobs killed, that ranged from zero to a million. what do you say to the folks who will lose the jobs so that others can get a raise? >> well, it also says that 16 million americans will get a raise, the cbo report. so economic stimulus, number one, is when people have enough money to provide for the bare necessary toifs lifities the of the philosophy behind the minimum wage. we have a situation here where 30 million workers are making less today than workers made in 1968 adjusted for inflation. even though economists say worker productivity has doubled since the '60s. this is ridiculous. if we had an adequate minimum wage, we'd have tens of billions of dollars in economic stimulus creating consumer demand which economists think will get us out of the recession. more than that

stephen moore, how are you, sir? >> these are the people who need it the most, what is the problem? >> this poll shocked me, bill. six out of ten people who don't have insurance don't favor obama care. that is puzzling. you would think that people getting coverage would be people who support the plan. what you are finding when the president talks about the numbers. 4 or 5 million people signing up for obama care are people who are shifting their insurance. people who don't have insurance they don't understand how it works and reluctant to sign up and the people who are getting insurance are put in medicaid and people don't like medicaid. it is not a good coverage program. >> under this law medicaid is not good or worse under obama care? >> look, what we are doing to give people health insurance and get them coverage, many of them are dumped in the medicaid program that exists right now. we know from past 20 years medicaid is not a good coveraging program. hospitals and doctors don't take medicaid and may o clinic didn't have medicaid. and the dynamic is young people and the big popu
