steve. over the years, i think he's a phenomenal film maker i loved good night and good luck. i loved confessions avenue dangerous mind. having the cohenlved in the film this movie has a lot of history the cohen' wrote the script in 1999. and then clooney was researching a documentary about the first african-american family that moved into this town and then he took this real life family called the meyers family and he dropped think their real story into the fictional script that cohen's written in 1999. the film is very interesting. very serious movie and it deals wi you're dealing with this idea of this family that's moved into this suburban town they're not doing anything wrong whatsoever yet right next door the white family with matt damon' character committing murder and violent acts and nobody is saying anything about it. so this commentary on this irony that this family had moved into the town and done nothing wrong but yet nobody is paying attention to the real criminals of the town the white family next door. that's kind of what the movie focuses specifically on. i sat down with george clooney to speak about that theme in the
